EuroSkills is the European championships for young people in non-academic vocational training. WorldSkills Europe, the European umbrella organisation, works with its members and partners to promote training and make it attractive. The partnership between WorldSkills Europe and Festo is based on shared values. Festo fulfils its social responsibility by training young professionals in technical professions.
In 2025, the European vocational skills championships will be held in the town of Herning in Denmark. The motto is: "Skilled for a Greener Future" Festo promotes a green future: By sponsoring the competition equipment for mechatronics and Industry 4.0 Festo demonstrates its commitment to the vocational training of tomorrow's skilled workers.
WorldSkills Europe relies on experienced partners. Festo is well-established when it comes to innovation and problem-solving expertise in all areas of factory and process automation. That is why Festo has been supporting WorldSkills Europe since the first EuroSkills championships in Rotterdam in 2008. Festo has been a Premium Sponsor since 2022. And since 1991 the company has been cooperating with Worldskills International as a global industry partner. New disciplines such as Industry 4.0, water technology or renewable energies are the result of joint projects to deal with current technology trends and include them into vocational training and the labour market.
The young professionals will put all their talent and skills to the test at the European Championship. During the event, they will be relying on their thorough preparation for the competition. Since 2008 all participants have been using components, software and training systems from Festo Didactic in the competition for the gold, silver or bronze medals. As a Premium Sponsor, Festo is providing state-of-the-art competition equipment for the two disciplines of mechatronics and industry 4.0 at EuroSkills Herning 2025 in Denmark. This commitment shows that Festo is specifically boosting technical vocational education. It is also the company’s way of nurturing skilled workers who will be playing an important role in the transition to an environmentally friendly industry.
