The idea is to integrate learning more into the work process. The employees’ individual requirements for training as well as the company's business objectives will be brought together in a learning and assistance solution.
The LeARn4Assembly project is exploring the potential of virtual and augmented reality (VR and AR). A concept for the training method is being developed and integrated into a VR/AR-based assistance system.
The primary target group is assembly workers that come from different age groups and have different qualification levels, experience and language. The worker can access various training content independently to help with their decisions and receives feedback about the quality of their work and the potential for other possible actions. The aim is to encourage self-reflection, improve understanding of processes and increase personal responsibility.
