Established in 1989 as a subsidiary of Festo AG & Co. KG in Germany, Festo Indonesia supports the nation’s industries with innovative automation products, solutions, and services. In the field of education and training, Festo Didactic began developing activities in Indonesia in to support technical and vocational education with learning systems and training solutions.

Over the years Festo Didactic partnered with Indonesian technical universities, vocational schools (SMK), government training centres, and industry players to implement training programs. It contributed to curriculum development, teacher upskilling, and certification programs aimed at improving the skills of students and workers for industry needs. Festo Didactic has been part of broader efforts to modernize vocational and technical education in Indonesia, aligning training with Industry 4.0 trends by introducing digitalization, automation, and smart factory concepts.
