MSE6-E2M constantly monitors the compressed air consumption, blocks the compressed air after waiting a specific period once production has stopped and reduces the system pressure to 0 bar. It can be integrated directly into PROFIBUS, PROFINET, EtherCAT or Ethernet/IP via fieldbus.

Saving energy has never been easier

The energy efficiency module MSE6-E2M automates energy saving in compressed air systems. The intelligent module fully automatically monitors and regulates the compressed air supply in new and existing systems.

In standby mode? Compressed air is switched off!!
If the MSE6-E2M detects a standby status on the basis of predefined data, the compressed air supply is shut down automatically, similar to energy-saving start-stop systems in cars. The compressed air consumption drops to zero during these pauses, even if the system has leaks! The compressed air supply can be easily restarted at the machine’s control panel.

Leakage measurement
When the compressed air supply is shut down, the MSE6-E2M checks the system for leaks. Rapidly dropping pressure indicates that there is a large leak. A message is then sent to the system operator. This allows maintenance which, for the first time, is based on actual requirements.

Condition and system monitoring
The MSE6-E2M makes energy monitoring easy by continuously providing process data. Integrated into the machine controller via Profibus, the MSE6-E2M cyclically exchanges important data such as flow rate, pressure and consumption and can be operated via the operating panel.
