Job Description:

In this role, you will be responsible for driving distributors in increasing market share of Festo in the assigned market. Support distributors to achieve targets and business objectives.

Your responsibilities:

  • Drive distribution business as per company requirements.
  • Work in close co-ordination with distributors to achieve high market share at their customers.
  • Drive specific objectives as per company requirements
  • Review distributors performance to ensure required service levels are maintained.

Product Security Specialist

Job Description:

Festo is establishing a Product Security Testing team in India, and we are looking for highly motivated Product Security Specialist with experience in security testing, particularly in the domain of Embedded and IoT products. We seek enthusiastic, young, and talented Product Security Specialist who are passionate about working with industrial devices, identifying security vulnerabilities, and helping the team validate fixes. As a Product Security Specialist, you will collaborate with your teammates in the cyber security testing team on various products across the organisation to ensure that all Festo products are cyber security compliant and free from vulnerabilities.

Your Responsibilities

  • Perform penetration testing of Festo products.
  • Assist in creating and maintaining test plans and checklists.
  • Develop test specifications, test cases, and test plans for security vulnerability testing of Festo products.
  • Execute test cases effectively.
  • Conduct basic vulnerability Assessment using tools like Nessus, OpenVAS and Nmap etc.
  • Perform protocol-level black-box fuzzing tests using various open-source and proprietary tools.
  • Support documentation of test results and collaborate with the development team.
  • Participate in automating test processes within CI/CD environments.

Our Requirements

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Mechatronics, Information Science, Electronics, Cyber Security, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 4 years of experience in device security testing, ideally within the Industrial Automation or Automotive sectors.
  • Proficiency in programming languages such as C/C++, Python, or Shell scripting and exposure to CI/CD practices.
  • Familiarity with different industrial protocols, fuzzing protocols, and PLC systems and hands on experience in the embedded domain.
  • Understanding of the Secure Development Lifecycle and standards such as IEC 62443-4.
  • Experience with tools like OpenVAS, Nessus, Nmap, Wireshark, and penetration testing for embedded or IoT systems. Experience in the embedded domain is required.
  • Familiarity with various industrial protocols (e.g., Profinet, EtherCAT, Ethernet/IP, Modbus, OPC/UA, TSN) and PLC systems (e.g., Siemens, Rockwell, Yokogawa, Schneider Electric, Beckhoff, ABB, Omron), as well as automotive communication protocols (CAN, LIN, FlexRay).
  • Relevant certifications are advantageous: OSCP, CRTP, CRTO, eWPTX, CPENT, LPT, PNPT.

Engineer - Supplier Quality Development

Job Description:

You will be responsible for contributing to the development and implementation of best practices in quality vision, strategy, policies, processes, and procedures to enhance operational performance, in alignment with Festo’s internal quality systems.

Scope of Work:
Technology: Involvement with various manufacturing processes, including investment casting, die casting, machining, injection molding, rubber parts, standard parts, and electro-mechanical components.
Purchasing: Conduct supplier evaluations, audits, and qualifications. Support the development and onboarding of new products and suppliers.
Quality Management: Lead APQP activities for assigned suppliers/commodities, especially on feasibility study, technical discussion with suppliers, FMEA and control plan evaluation, measurement alignment, inspection planning, process capability study.
Support product launches by ensuring that suppliers can meet the required quality standards and deliver consistent performance.

Your Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement robust processes at supplier locations to sustainably enhance their competitiveness, thereby improving Festo’s overall performance through systematic process reviews, audits, workshops, and improvement projects—covering both series production and new product developments.
  • Collaborate with global, regional, and local Purchasing teams, Business Units (BUs), Engineering Centres (TEC), and manufacturing plants (GPC, RSC) to support supplier development and ensure high quality of externally sourced parts, aiming for optimal Quality, Cost, and Delivery (QCD) outcomes.
  • Support the supply chain in ensuring continuity of parts supply while taking ownership of reducing non-conforming parts from or at suppliers.
  • Provide regular (weekly) updates to the Purchasing Head on supplier development strategies, process improvements, and quality enhancement initiatives.
  • Coordinate annual target-setting with suppliers and monitor achievement progress through monthly and quarterly reviews.
  • Conduct periodic audits of vendors/suppliers to ensure consistent quality performance and compliance with standards defined by Global Purchasing.
  • Manage and monitor Supplier Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) to drive sustained performance improvement.
  • Ensure compliance with Quality Management Systems (QMS) and provide support in maintaining adherence to these standards.
  • Review supplier manufacturing processes and engage in collaborative efforts to identify and implement process improvements and cost-saving opportunities.
  • Lead the supplier development strategy, including the design of performance metrics and management of supplier evaluation frameworks.
  • Analyze supplier quality data to identify trends and areas for improvement within the supply chain.
  • Champion high performance and quality standards by setting a strong personal example and clearly communicating expectations to the team.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with internal teams and external suppliers to support effective collaboration and drive results.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders to ensure optimal performance.

Our Requirements

  • Diploma or B.E. in Mechanical Engineering, with relevant experience in the following areas:
  • Strong technical knowledge of injection molding, investment casting, high-pressure die casting (HPDC), machining, rubber parts, standard parts, and electro-mechanical components.
  • Proven experience as a lead auditor in Quality and Environmental audits.
  • Solid understanding of quality processes, methodologies, and statistical quality tools.
  • Proficient in SAP – QM Module, MS Excel, PowerPoint, and MS Project.
  • Strong foundation in metrology, and practical experience with Six Sigma tools and methodologies.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of APQP, FMEA, SPC, MSA, FPY, SLC, and PPAP.
