Sustainability and climate protection

Reducing CO2 emissions at our customer sites and at Festo

Climate protection begins within your own four walls. That is why at Festo we are pursuing a sustainability strategy that is aligned with the United Nations Development Goals (SDGs). From 2023 onwards, all our buildings in Germany as well as our global production and logistics sites will be carbon neutral with regard to Scope 1 and 2. From 2026, the entire Festo Group will be carbon neutral. With our decision to go carbon neutral, we are taking responsibility as a family-owned company – you can read here exactly what that means for us and how we support you in achieving your own goals.

In addition to Scope 1 and 2 emissions, Scope 3 emissions also play an important role. This looks at emissions produced by purchasing and logistics, product design and how products are used by our customers. All our employees from all the different corporate divisions are motivated to support you by making their own personal contribution to help you on your way to climate neutrality. You can get to know a few of them here.
