On the basis of practical problem descriptions, the training media impart knowledge about the basic physical principles of electrohydraulics, function, and use of electrohydraulic components and typical, basic electrical circuits. A basic knowledge of hydraulic device technology is a prerequisite. The number and design of the components of the equipment set and the projects of the training media are optimally coordinated. This makes for effortless teaching of the essential basics. Without needing tools and using just one hand, the components can be flexibly arranged on a profile plate with 50 mm slot spacing or in an ER mounting frame to create a wide variety of pneumatic control systems. All hydraulic and electrical connections are on the top of the components so they are easily accessible. The hydraulic connection is made without tools using low-leakage stainless steel couplings. The coupling nipple and coupling socket are self-sealing when uncoupled and are pressure-resistant up to 12 MPa. Sensors for pressure, temperature, and flow can be used at any coupling point.
