All application modules can be mounted on both the basic modules of the CP Factory and the pallet transfer systems of the CP Lab. The latest industrial technologies determine the training content of the stations. Thanks to standardised interfaces, you can exchange the application modules in just a few minutes. The fast conversion leaves more time for different learning situations and contents.
With the Measuring application module you set up two laser distance sensors at two measuring points specific to the parts. To do this, the two sensors are mounted on an adjustable measurement stand.
The Workpiece discharge application module is equipped with a two-axis handling system and is used to eject workpieces on two roller conveyors. You can use this application module as a manual workstation for workpiece removal.
In the case of the Drilling application module, two drill spindles are fed in in the Z-direction and moved in the X-direction. This enables two (simulated) pairs of holes to be drilled into a workpiece.
In the case of the CPS drilling application module, two drill spindles are fed in in the Z-direction and moved in the X-direction. Two pairs of holes can thus be drilled into a workpiece. The integrated intelligent controller with web interface monitors the operating status of the individual actuators and is able to automatically generate order recommendations for spare and wearing parts via the web interface.
In the case of the Magazine application module, the workpieces ‘front bowl’ or ‘back bowl’ are stored in a stacking magazine. If there is a pallet below the stacking magazine, the workpiece is separated and placed onto the pallet.
With the Muscle press application module, the pressing-in process is carried out using proportional pressure regulation. The force generated is precisely measured with a dynamometer. The pressing-in force is absorbed and dissipated by an additional guide and doesn't affect the conveyor belt.
The Tunnel furnace application module is used to temper workpieces up to a temperature of 80 degrees Celsius. The temperature control loop is influenced manually using ventilation flaps, so that you can simulate disturbance variables.
The Turning application module turns workpieces using a pneumatic handling unit. The module is designed for handling cube-shaped workpieces.
The camera of the Camera inspection application module operates as an intelligent and universal sensor in the process for quality assurance using optical inspection.
The Pick-by-Light module offers the option of integrating manual assembly sequences with operator guidance into assembly lines. The assembly sequence is selected in the MES4 routing plan.
