In response to the severe challenges of the COVID-19 epidemic, Festo responds quickly globally, and prioritizes the safety and health of personnel, while ensuring uninterrupted services. In Taiwan, we are fully cooperating with local regulations to provide customers and business partners with continuous service quality. The operations and all businesses are operating normally, and relevant anti-epidemic measures and plans have been announced.

Epidemic prevention measures

  • Activate the anti-epidemic mechanism: Festo Taiwan staffs will wear masks throughout the work day, measure the body's temperature, and clean the tabletop with alcohol every day.
  • Visitor reception measures: During the epidemic prevention period, all business offices will not allow any visiting.
    If you need to visit, please contact the business window in advance and fill in the health declaration form, those who have no suspected symptoms of new coronary pneumonia (muscle soreness and respiratory symptoms such as: runny nose, cough, sore throat or short of breath, unknown diarrhea, loss of taste or smell, etc., and the forehead temperature is lower than 37.3 degrees). Customers must wear masks and take body temperature measurements throughout the visit. Alcohol is provided at the entrance of the company to clean their hands before entering. In the past 14 days, those who are "home quarantine" or "independent health management", or those who have been in contact with confirmed or suspected cases, will not be allowed to enter.
  • Protective measures for both parties: During the epidemic, in order to avoid the spread and expansion of the epidemic, if there is a suspected infection or confirmed diagnosis of the personnel with your company, please contact us as soon as possible, so that we can respond in time to ensure the continuous operation of both parties.

Business Continuity Plan (BCP)

  • Customer service is uninterrupted: With complete operational planning and support, Festo will implement measures such as two-shift group work and remote work from home (Linkou company) from May 17th. All sales engineers try their best to adopt online meetings, emails, and phone calls to service customers and business partners, reduce personnel contact opportunities, and protect the health and safety of customers. Only necessary visits can be carried out after being reported and approved.

※ If the local alert level is raised to Level 4, we will completely prohibit all face-to-face business visits and meetings, and completely change to contact by phone, e-mail or video.
