We also offer comprehensive, technology-independent training content for lean management, project management and the development of soft skills. Browse through our highlight courses in the brochure below or search for available courses directly on the digital learning portal.
Festo LX provides teachers and students with a variety of different features that make learning easier. With Festo LX, we have created a digital learning portal that offers a high degree of flexibility and personalisation and integrates practical learning systems, too. It includes an extensive library of professional course content prepared by our industry experts that meets the needs of industry. The courses are organised according to the micro-learning approach, i.e. the training content is structured in small nuggets that enable students to make progress even in short bursts. Find out more about the functions of our Festo Learning Experience Portal.
It is crucial to choose different learning formats to make lessons as effective and varied as possible. Festo LX offers a wide range of options for presenting and communicating training content.
The training content of our eLearning courses is designed to be interactive and usually has a storytelling approach with a speaker who guides students through the course. These courses are particularly well suited as an introduction to new topics and provide a global overview. Best of all, you only need a tablet, laptop or smartphone with an Internet connection to complete the courses.
Our eLab courses offer a wide range of hardware-specific training content, which is taught either using Festo Didactic devices or simulation software. The courses include several exercises that are specifically selected by a teacher depending on the required learning outcomes. Our corresponding learning systems are required to complete the courses. Our eLab courses are designed to put previously learned theoretical knowledge to the test with practical tasks.
Our eTheory courses offer a wide range of hardware-independent training content on technical topics. Compared to eLearning courses, they usually convey a broader range of knowledge.
Our evaluations are used to review the prior knowledge of the students or their progress on a particular topic. This is done using a catalogue with predefined questions. These have to be completed in a certain amount of time and a specific number of questions must be answered correctly in order to pass. These values are set by the teachers and adjusted to the level of difficulty as required.
Our simulations safely guide the students when carrying out practical experiments that have no impact on real processes. The simulations offer a cost-effective supplement to the learning process as there is no need to purchase additional learning equipment.
In our tutorial videos, experts present complex topics in a straightforward way. The videos provide easy-to-understand and practical explanations of topics related to technical vocational training, facilitating fast and effective learning.

A learning experience portal is an online platform designed to facilitate and improve the learning process for users. It offers a variety of resources, tools and functions that support personalised learning experiences. The most important features include:
A learning platform is a digital environment that enables users to create, manage and utilise training content. These platforms offer various functions such as online courses, interactive exercises, forums for exchanging ideas between students and teachers as well as opportunities for assessing performance. Learning platforms can be used for various educational purposes, from school education to vocational training and eLearning. They promote flexible learning, as users can generally access the content regardless of time and place.
A learning management system (LMS) is a software application or platform used for planning, providing, managing and evaluating learning and training programmes.
It is widely used in educational institutes, businesses and other organisations to facilitate eLearning and training initiatives. The most important features include:
