An automated conveyor system is a mechanical device that automates the transport of goods, products or materials in a warehouse, production facility or logistics environment. It moves items efficiently between different points and is able to control and optimise processes, which in turn increases productivity and reduces manual labour.
There are different types of conveyor systems, including belt conveyors, roller conveyors, chain conveyors, vibratory conveyors and modular systems.
