Feed separator

Feed separator HPVS

The feed separator HPVS can be used for general separation or as a pure stopper. Unlike the HPV, it has only one plunger. Unlike to the HPV, two HPVSes are controlled separately for separation. This makes the HPVS particularly interesting for separating longer and larger parts where the HPV reaches its limits. However, the drive is also suitable for stopping tasks that require low energy consumption. The plunger of the HPVS can be adapted to the product to be separated with customer-specific assemblies. In addition, a high precision of the plungers as well as a high torque resistance is guaranteed by an accurate guide mechanism for plungers. Centering sleeves ensure that the HPV can be optimally and precisely adapted during assembly. The supply ports can be mounted either at the top or at the rear. Integrated magnets for position sensing allow the use of proximity switches. Optionally, our proximity switches SME-8 and SMT-8 can be fitted directly in a sensor slot on the housing, thus realizing a space-saving sensor concept. A wide variety of sizes is available. The product is robust as it is corrosion-resistant due to stainless steel plungers.

Feed separator HPV

The feed separator HPV is a pneumatic stopper which already has integrated the feed separator function. The actuator has two plungers that are connected by mechanical synchronization. The plungers can be adapted to the product to be separated with customer-specific assemblies. Synchronization of the plungers makes it possible to implement the feed separator function with a single product, which is also actuated by a single valve. This saves time and costs. An integrated mechanical interlock ensures that at least one plunger is always extended. During switching, both plungers are briefly extended and the part to be separated is enclosed. This mode of operation increases process reliability. In addition, a high precision of the plungers as well as a high torque resistance is guaranteed by an accurate guide mechanism for plungers.
