Selection Guide

Filters LF

The LF coarse filters remove dirt particles, rust and condensate from the compressed air. The condensate and larger particles are separated via the centrifugal principle. Depending on the filter selection, an ISO particle purity class 6 (with 5 µm filter) or 7 (with 40 µm filter) can usually be achieved. The dirt is drained from the filter bowl of the unit via a condensate drain. This is available in the "manual" and "fully automatic" variants.

Fine filter LFMB

The fine filter LFMB with a filter fineness of 1 µm separates liquid oil and fine particles from the compressed air. These are used when a higher compressed air quality is required.
The separated dirt is drained from the filter bowl of the unit via a condensate drain. This is available in the "manual" and "fully automatic mechanical" options.

Micro filter LFMA

The fine filter LFMA with a filter fineness of 0.01 µm separates liquid oil and fine particles from the compressed air. These are used when a high compressed air quality is required.
The separated dirt is drained from the filter bowl of the unit via a condensate drain. This is available in the "manual" and "fully automatic mechanical" options.

Active carbon filter LFX

The active carbon filter LFX removes gaseous oil vapor. This is used when high-purity compressed air is required, e.g. in the optical industry or food industry, when the compressed air can come into contact with the product. The active carbon filter also removes odors and flavors from the compressed air. The filter cartridge must be replaced according to the recommended service life.

Filter combinations LFMBA

A combination LFMBA comprising fine and micro filters with 1 µm and 0.01 µm pore width ensures higher reliability to maintain compressed air quality. The fine filter separates the larger particles, the micro filter only the smaller particles that can pass through the fine filter. This extends the service life of the micro filter and increases the purity of the compressed air.
