Series MS

Filter MS-LF

The MS-LF coarse filters remove dirt particles, rust and condensate from the compressed air. The condensate and larger particles are separated via the centrifugal principle. Depending on the filter selection, an ISO particle purity class 6 (with 5 µm filter) or 7 (with 40 µm filter) can usually be achieved. The dirt is drained from the filter bowl of the unit via a condensate drain. It is available in the "manually operable", "semi-automatically and fully automatically mechanical" and "electrically operable" options.
The functional element of the coarse filter is the filter element. This must be replaced according to the recommended service life.
The MS-LF coarse filters are optionally configurable for use in hazardous areas of zones 1, 2, 21 and 22 as well as with UL approval.

Fine and micro filters MS-LFM

Fine and micro filters with filter fineness of 1 µm and 0.01 µm, also called coalescence filters, separate liquid oil and fine particles from the compressed air. These are used when a high degree of compressed air purity is required.
To guarantee high reliability, the fine and micro filter systems of the MS series are also available with mechanical or electronic display for monitoring filter contamination. The separated dirt is drained from the filter bowl of the unit via a condensate drain. It is available in the "manually operable", "semi-automatically and fully automatically mechanical" and "electrically operable" options.
The MS-LFM fine and micro filters are optionally configurable for use in hazardous areas of zones 1, 2, 21 and 22 as well as with UL approval.

Active carbon filter MS-LFX

The active carbon filter removes gaseous oil vapour from the compressed air. This is used when high-purity compressed air is required, e.g. in the optical industry or food industry, when the compressed air can come into contact with the product. The active carbon filter also removes odors and flavors from the compressed air. The functional element of the active carbon filter is the filter cartridge. This must be replaced according to the recommended service life.
The MS-LFX active carbon filter is optionally configurable for use in potentially explosive areas of zones 1, 2, 21 and 22 as well as with UL approval.
