Position sensors

SRBS

The SRBS is a sensor for sensing DRVS and DSM quarter turn actuators. The position sensor can be mounted directly on the actuator without accessories. The detection range of the sensor covers all offered swivel ranges. The position sensor can be programmed via an integrated operating button and offers the following functions in one device: free setting of 2 switching points, PNP/NPN, NO/NC, cable quality, cable chain and robot.

SDAT

The SDAT is a position transmitter for the T-slot and can be inserted into the slot from above. It is used for analog feedback of the piston movement in the detection range of 50, 80, 100, 125, 160 mm for application of e.g. screws, clamps, press-fit, go/no-go detection. The signal output is analog as 4 – 20 mA or via IO-Link. In IO-Link mode, 4 channels can be additionally programmed, each with the following functions: proximity sensor function, window comparator, hysteresis comparator. Furthermore, the position transmitter has a 24 V switching output, the functionality of which can be programmed directly on the device via an operating button. Programming options for the switching output are proximity sensor function, window comparator, hysteresis comparator, NO, NC.

SMAT

The product family consists of the SMAT-8E and SMAT-8M position transmitters. They are used for analog feedback of the piston movement in the detection range in applications such as screws, clamps, press-fitting, good/bad detection.
The SMAT-8E is a position transmitter for T-slot and can be pushed into the slot from the side. The detection range is 50 mm. The signal output is analog as 4-20 mA and 0-10 V signal.
The SMAT-8M is a position transmitter for the T-slot and can be inserted into the slot from above. Its special characteristic is its small size (not larger than a normal proximity sensor). It is therefore preferably used on small actuators such as pneumatic grippers and compact cylinders. The detection range depends on the actuator and is up to 40 mm. The signal output is analog as 0-10 V signal.

SMH

SMH are special position sensors for sensing certain gripper types (HGD16, HGP06, HGPP, HGR10, HGW10) and can only be used on these. They can be mounted directly and without accessories. For signal evaluation, the position sensors must be connected to the SVE4-HS signal conditioner. The signal conditioner can be used to program 2 switching points, PNP, NPN, NO, NC.

Displacement encoder systems MME-MTS-TLF

The MME-MTS-TLF are based on a magnetostrictive measuring principle, are non-contact and absolutely measuring, have a high travel speed, long service life, high degree of protection, offer pluggable connections and can be used for strokes from 225 to 2000 mm.
They are used with servo-pneumatic regulators CPX-CMAX, CPX-CMPX, CPX-CMIX, SPC11-AIF-MTS-2.

The MLO-POT-LWG are push rod potentiometers, are absolutely measuring with high resolution, long service life, high degree of protection, offer pluggable connections and can be used for strokes from 100 to 750 mm.They are used with servo-pneumatic regulators CPX-CMAX, CPX-CMPX, CPX-CMIX, SPC11-POT-LWG.

It can only be used as an accessory for the Festo Motion Terminal VTEM.
