SDBT

SDBT are electronic proximity sensors and can be inserted into the sensor slot from above. The family consists of SDBT-BSW and SDBT-MS. The SDBT-BSW is welding field resistant in 50 Hz AC and 1000 Hz MFDC welding fields and the preferred sensing solution on DFAW clamp cylinders. The SDBT-MS has a NAMUR output and can be used in ATEX zones 0, 1, 2, 20, 21, 22.

SMT-8M-A

SMT-8M-A are electronic proximity sensors and can be inserted into the sensor slot from above. The family is the preferred universal standard solution for all factory automation applications, especially with high cycle rates. Further essential characteristics are: optical setting aid via LED, one-hand mounting, PNP, NPN, NO, NC, safe switching point detection at high piston speeds, 5–30 V, -40 °C to +85 °C, cable quality, cable chain + robot, 2 and 3-wire, ATEX zone 2, 22 and configurability via modular system.

SME-8

SME-8 are reed proximity sensors and can be pushed into the sensor slot from the side. In particular, the family provides proximity sensors for 230 V and a high temperature of 120 °C. The remaining other variants are standard solutions and predecessor models of the SME-8M and are therefore mainly used in existing systems.

SME-8M

SME-8M are reed proximity sensors and can be inserted into the sensor slot from above. The family is the universal standard solution for simpler applications with e.g. lower cycle rates. Reed switches are universally usable as PNP, NPN and they represent the only possible way of implementing position feedback as a potential-free contact. Further essential characteristics are: 5–30 V, NO/NC, cable quality, standard and cable chain / cable chain and robot, 2 and 3-wire as well as configurability via a modular system.

SMT-8

SMT-8 are electronic proximity sensors and can be inserted into the sensor slot from above. The family offers especially media-resistant proximity sensors CRSMT-8/CRSMT-8M, for gripper-optimized solutions SMT-8G and ATEX proximity sensors SMT-8F-I.
The special characteristics of the CRSMT family are: food-safe, resistant to cleaning agents, acid resistant, resistant to cooling lubricants, high IP protection, suitable for outdoor use.
The CRSMT-8M can be inserted into the slot from above and the CRSMT-8 can be pushed in from the side. The CRSMT-8M can also be used on cylinders for the food industry (cylinders with sensor rail, e.g. DSBF).
SMT-8G are ultra-short in the slot direction and therefore ideal for sensing on pneumatic grippers.
The SMT-8F-I is the predecessors of the SDBT-MS ATEX and is therefore mainly used in existing systems.

SMEO-8E

SME-8E are reed proximity sensors and can be inserted into the sensor slot from above. The design of the proximity sensors allows a connecting cable to be connected directly to the sensor housing. The family is the universal standard solution for simpler applications with e.g. lower cycle rates. Reed switches are universally usable as PNP, NPN and they represent the only possible way of implementing position feedback as a potential-free contact. Other essential characteristics: NO, M8/M12 plug directly on the housing, a option for high temperatures up to 120 °C.

SMTO-8E

SMTO-8E are electronic proximity sensors and can be inserted into the sensor slot from above. The design of the proximity sensors allows a connecting cable to be connected directly to the sensor housing. The family is suitable for all factory automation applications, especially with high cycle rates. Other essential characteristics are: PNP, NPN, NO, M8/M12 plug directly on the housing.
The SMTSO-8E version is welding field-resistant for 50 Hz welding fields.

SMPO-8E

SMPO-8E are pneumatic proximity sensors and can be inserted into the sensor slot from above.
As a special feature, a pneumatic 3/2-way valve is actuated via the piston magnet in this switch. Connection and signal evaluation are therefore pneumatic and not electrical.
