Audi

List of approved components for Audi Neckarsulm – assembly line

A list of approved components was created together with Audi in Neckarsulm. It contains all the Festo products that can be used on the assembly line at the Neckarsulm plant.

The technical assembly department at Audi is the point of contact for the Audi NSU assembly list of approved Festo mechanical components. A copy of the list can be obtained from this department.

The list of approved components for the Györ and Ingolstadt plants has been withdrawn and these two plants have been included in the 'List of approved components for KLH mechanical aggregate production’.

This list of approved components was created in cooperation with Volkswagen and Audi and applies to the Volkswagen Group's production of engines, gear boxes, chassis and to its foundry.
The components on this list are only approved after consultation with the specialist department.

The product data sheets have been created based on the Audi AG list of approved electric components.
These data sheets apply to automation technology in the body shop, paint shop and on the assembly line at the plants in Ingolstadt, Neckarsulm and Brussels.

List of approved components for body manufacture (TKB)

Together with BMW, a list of approved components was drawn up for the body shop technology area. This list of approved components can be downloaded from BWM’s B2B platform.

List of approved components for assembly (TMO):

Together with BMW, a list of approved components was created for the assembly technology area. The approvals apply to the Munich, Dingolfing, Regensburg, Leipzig (Germany); Araquari (Brazil); Oxford (Great Britain); Spartanburg (United States); Rosslyn (South Africa); Shenyang (China); and San Luis Potosi (Mexico) plants.

List of approved drive train components

Together with BMW, a list of approved components was drawn up for the drive train technology area.

The approvals apply to the Munich, Dingolfing, Landshut, Regensburg, Berlin (Germany) as well as the Steyr (Austria), Hams Hall (Great Britain) and Shenyang (China) plants.

Brose

Worldwide list of approved Festo components for Brose plants

The list of approved components contains all the generally approved components and configurations for pneumatic and electric automation technology.
Special approvals are possible in exceptional cases in consultation with the project manager at Brose.
Scope of validity: worldwide for all Brose locations
The specification is used for all new purchases, conversions and extensions.

CNH-FPT Industrial project manual

CNH-FPT Industrial and Festo have created a global project manual for power train projects to help machine and system builders to select suitable and approved products.
Both the specifications of CNH-FPT INDUSTRIAL and the global standards have been taken into account.
The Festo project manual complements CNH-FPT Industrial’s specifications and specifies the components that can be used to build machines and systems within the scope of power train projects.

DAF

List of approved components for DAF

Together with DAF Eindhoven, we created a list of approved standard components. It contains all the approved Festo products for automation in the body shop, the paint shop, final assembly and engine production in Eindhoven (NL) and Westerlo (BE). The approval of components not included on this list is subject to consultation with the respective engineers at DAF N.V.

Daimler

Festo is a project partner of Daimler in the INTEGRA 5 and INTEGRA 6 standardisation lines in their car body plants worldwide. Daimler and Festo have created joint global project manuals for the INTEGRA standardisation lines and power train in order to help system and machine builders to select suitable and approved products.

Project participants receive information about the latest projects and regulations on the corresponding digital platforms from Daimler:

  • ECM (enterprise content manager)
  • MDM (material data manager)

That is also where you can find all the latest lists of approved components, project manuals and valve terminal configurators from Festo. The lists of approved components and project manuals specify the components that can be used in the individual projects for building the specific machines and systems.

Project manuals for FCA power train projects

FCA and Festo have created joint global project manuals for power train projects in order to help system and machine builders to select suitable and approved products.
Both the specifications of FCA and the global standards have been taken into account.
The Festo project manual for FCA power train projects complements FCA’s specifications and specifies the components that can be used to build machines and systems within the scope of power train projects.

The size and global presence of Ford has led Festo to set up a Ford Customer Team that will support all Ford plants worldwide as well as the machine and system builders during projects.

Festo is the preferred component manufacturer for all of Ford’s global power train projects. The global list of approved components for Ford power train projects is available on the Ford Covisint platform. You can also download the Festo project manual from there.

General Motors

General Motors operates two joint ventures in China.

SAIC General Motors Corporation Limited (SAIC-GM or ‘SGM’)
SAIC-GM manufactures and sells the automotive brands Chevrolet, Buick and Cadillac in Greater China. SAIC-GM was founded in 1997 with a 50% investment by each partner.
Together, we created a project manual for the SAIC-GM power train

  • that applies to all SGM power train plants in China.
  • The current version is V4.2 (revised in November 2017).

In addition, we have created a project manual for the SAIC-GM battery assembly

  • that applies to all SGM battery plants in China.
  • The current version is V1.0 (created in December 2017).

SAIC General Motors-Wuling (SAIC-GM-Wuling or ‘SGMW’)
SAIC-GM-Wuling is a joint venture between SAIC Motor, General Motors and Liuzhou Wuling Motors Co Ltd. that produces commercial and private vehicles sold in China under the brands Wuling and Baojun. SGMW is a major manufacturer of mass-produced products in the domestic Chinese market and one of the largest manufacturers of microvans in China.
We created a project manual for the SGMW power train

  • that applies to all SGMW power train plants in China.
  • The current version is V1.3 (revised in March 2017).

Magna

List of preferred products for Magna Powertrain ILZ

This preferred product list was created in cooperation with Magna Powertrain ILZ. The approvals apply to the ILZ plant.

This preferred product list was created in cooperation with Magna Steyr Fahrzeugtechnik Graz for the body shop. The approvals apply to the body shop at the Graz plant for the G30, X 540, X 590, MOPF, and GJ29 projects as well as subsequent projects.

Renault Group

List of suggestions for the Renault Group

These documents are applicable to all current and future worldwide Renault Group projects.

The lists of approved components called CNOMO were created by Renault for the pneumatic and electric components for all departments:

The aim of these catalogues is to reduce the time it takes to select products and to ensure that Renault accepts the selected Festo products.
