Combating climate change begins within our own four walls. That is why we at Festo are pursuing a sustainability strategy that is aligned with the development goals (SDGs) of the United Nations. From 2023, all our buildings in Germany and our global production and logistics locations will be CO2-neutral with regard to Scope 1 and 2. From 2026, the entire Festo Group will be CO2-neutral. With the decision to become CO2 neutral, we are assuming responsibility as a family-owned company – you can read what exactly that means for us and how we can support you in achieving your own goals here.
In addition to Scope 1 and 2 emissions, Scope 3 emissions also play an important role. Here, emissions from purchasing and logistics, product design and the use of the products by our customers are considered. All of our employees from the most diverse areas of the company are motivated to support you by making their own personal contribution to help you on your way to climate neutrality. You can get to know a few of them here.
