Audi

Release list for Audi Neckarsulm – assembly line

A release list was created together with Audi in Neckarsulm. It contains all the Festo products that can be used in the assembly line at the Neckarsulm plant.

The technical assembly department at Audi is the point of contact for the Audi NSU assembly release list for Festo mechanical components. A copy of the release list can be obtained from this department.

Release lists for unit production Audi Györ and Ingolstadt

The VW release lists for component production are valid for unit production at the Györ and Ingolstadt plants. These were created in cooperation with Audi, Skoda and Volkswagen and are based on the up-to-date specifications for mechanical systems for component production of the Volkswagen Group.

Brose

The release list contains all the generally approved components and configurations for pneumatic and electric automation technology.
Special approvals are possible in exceptional cases in consultation with the Brose project manager.
Scope of validity: worldwide for all Brose locations
The specification is used for all new purchases, conversions and extensions.

CNH-FPT Industrial project manual

CNH-FPT INDUSTRIAL and Festo have created a global project manual for powertrain projects to help machine and system builders to select suitable and approved products.
Both the specifications of CNH-FPT INDUSTRIAL and the global standards have been taken into account.
The Festo project manual complements CNH-FPT INDUSTRIAL's specifications and specifies the components that can be used to build machines and systems within the scope of powertrain projects.

DAF

Release list for DAF

Together with DAF Eindhoven, we have created a release list of standard components. It contains all the approved Festo products for automation in the body shop, the paint shop, final assembly and engine production in Eindhoven (NL) and Westerlo (BE). The approval of components not included on this list is subject to consultation with the respective DAF N.V. engineers.

Daimler

Festo is a project partner of Daimler in the INTEGRA 5 and INTEGRA 6 standardization lines in their car body plants worldwide. Daimler and Festo have created joint global project manuals for the INTEGRA standardization lines and the powertrain in order to help system and machine builders to select suitable and approved products.

Project participants receive information about the latest projects and regulations on the corresponding digital platforms from Daimler:

  • ECM (Enterprise Content Manager)
  • MDM (Material Data Manager)

Project manuals for FCA powertrain projects

FCA and Festo have created joint global project manuals for powertrain projects in order to help system and machine builders to select suitable and approved products.
Both the specifications of FCA and the global standards have been taken into account.
The Festo project manual for FCA powertrain projects complements FCA’s specifications and specifies the components that can be used to build machines and systems within the scope of powertrain projects.

Global powertrain specification
Festo is the preferred component manufacturer for all Ford global powertrain projects. The global list of approved components for Ford powertrain projects is available on the Ford Covisint platform. You can also download the Festo project manual from there.

General Motors

General Motors operates two joint ventures in China.

1. SAIC General Motors Corporation Limited (SAIC-GM or 'SGM')

  • Together, we have created a project manual for the SAIC-GM powertrain
    • This applies to all SGM powertrain plants in China
    • The current version is V4.3 (revised in December 2018)
  • Furthermore, we have created a project manual for the SAIC-GM manifold assembly
    • For traditional pneumatic and process automation components from Festo
      • Applies to all SGM battery plants in China
      • The current version is V1.1 (revised in August 2019)
    • For components of the electrical automation from Festo
      • Applies to all SGM battery plants in China
      • The current version is V1.0 (written in September 2019)

2. SAIC General Motors-Wuling (SAIC-GM-Wuling or 'SGMW')

SAIC General Motors-Wuling (SAIC-GM-Wuling or 'SGMW') SAIC-GM-Wuling is a joint venture between SAIC Motor, General Motors and Liuzhou. Wuling Motors Co Ltd. manufactures commercial and private vehicles that are sold under the brand names Wuling and Baojun. SGMW is a major manufacturer of mass-produced products in the domestic Chinese market and one of the largest manufacturers of microvans in China.

  • We created a project manual for the SGMW powertrain
    • which applies to all SGMW powertrain plants in China
    • The current version is V1.3 (revised in March 2017)

During the Renault project, Festo supports all Renault teams and partnerships in creating the RFQ/engineering with the "Global Overview", as well as with the "Renault Project Synthesis Book", which was created specifically for the ongoing Renault project.

The "Global Overview..." contains Your contact at Festo to receive the "Document of Synthesis for Renault project XXX".

Many applications that have already been undertaken with Renault are standardized, for example air unit panels, e-drive applications, to reduce the development time and risks in your project: do not hesitate and call Festo!
