1. Spindle drive
The anti-rotation spindle has a ball screw drive and is available in two pitches per size. It has life-time lubrication.
2. Guide unit
The optional external unit with recirculating ball bearing guide with high load bearing capacity is used for absorbing transverse forces and as protection against torsion at high torques.
3. Electric cylinder motor unit
The optimally tuned and ideally matching motor is firmly attached to the electric cylinder (mechanical system) ex works.
4. Electrical connections
The separate cables for power supply (load) and encoder are suitable for energy chains and are prefabricated up to 10 m. The connection technology and motor are configured with IP54 protection.
5. Motor connection
The outlet orientation of the motor cables is freely selectable with 4 x 90° and is delivered as standard with the outlet orientation at the top.
6. Motor
The EPCO motors are optionally available with holding brake. Controlled servo operation of the electric cylinder is possible with the optional encoder. Without encoder, the EPCO permits controlled operation with optimized costs.
7. End-position cushioning
It cushions the impact energy at both end positions and reduces both the load and the noise.
8. Position sensing
Optional sensing with inexpensive proximity switch SMT-8 or SME-8. To mount the sensor, simply stick it onto the aluminum sensor rail or the plastic mounting kit and mount the sensor.
