The SDAC-MHS provides non-contact feedback of the piston position of magnetically interrogated actuators. The SDAC-MHS is available as an IO-Link® version or with a classic 0 ... 10 V analog output.
1. As a position transmitter, it provides an output signal proportional to the travel in the detection range. This is provided in the IO-Link® communication standard. Furthermore, 4 channels can be programmed via IO-Link® as proximity sensor, window comparator or hysteresis comparator.
2. As a programmable proximity switch, the SDAC-MHS provides binary feedback of the piston position. A 24 V output signal is used as standard. Two proximity sensor switching points can be taught in within the sensing range via a capacitive operating button – directly on the device. Setting the sensor with the teach button is much faster than setting two proximity switches manually. As PNP/NPN/NO/NC can be programmed directly on the device, this significantly reduces the number of parts and versions that need to be kept to hand.
Thanks to its very small design, the SDAC-MHS is the ideal solution for grippers, compact cylinders and in all applications with little installation space.
