Clamping modules are extremely flat diaphragm actuators with short strokes for clamping tasks. These extraordinary properties allow clamping modules to be used in many situations where other clamping cylinders reach their limits, such as in narrow gaps. And a clamping force of up to 1640 N can be achieved. Any unevenness and dimensional deviations can be extremely well compensated. There are round and elongated designs with which both two-dimensional and more linear clamping tasks can be realised. The hermetically sealed design of the clamping modules also makes them suitable for harsh, dusty ambient conditions. The properties of a hermetically sealed drive are advantageous wherever the ambient conditions are difficult for conventional cylinders.
