Quality that ensures a long service life
Festo subjects all series products to long-term function and service life tests and has been doing so for more than 30 years. This is the only way to ensure that our products have ever longer service lives and increased economic efficiency.
Depending on the target application, valves have different service life characteristics:
- Simplest functions: up to 50 million switching cycles
- Industrial applications: 50 to 250 million switching cycles
- Special applications such as pressure regulating valves or fast-switching valves: 500 million to more than 2 billion switching cycles

More than ever before, modern automation requires speed, dynamic response and precision, as well as reduced cycle times at comparably low investment costs for the components.
Designed for ultra-fast sorting applications at up to 1,000 Hz, the fast-switching valves are suitable for all applications in which sorting cannot be fast enough: e.g. for rice, coffee, nuts, old glass, old paper.
