This compact double-acting pneumatic cylinder saves material and thus also weight. Consequently, this drive is not only ideal for applications where space is tight and limited, but also where it must be carried as a moving mass. The pneumatic cylinder DSNU-S can be mounted with only one central thread on the side of the piston rod, thus saving installation effort right from the start.

Easy to install and commission

The excellent handling ability of this compact pneumatic actuator thanks to additional key flats, the fixed or self-adjusting cushioning functions and the ability to combine it easily with the self-adjusting proximity switch SDBT-MSX for position sensing make installation and commissioning easy for you.

Low wear with long service life

This double-acting round cylinder is designed for an operating pressure of up to 10 bar and is available in a range of strokes up to 200 mm. The low-wear seal on the corrosion-resistant stainless steel piston rod ensures long service life and low friction.

Length is saved in all installation positions

A drive that does not add bulk and remains short despite attachments to the outer cylinder – ideal for all those places where only small installation windows are available. It is also possible to mount the cylinder pre-assembled with the attachments on the stainless steel tube.

If space is at a particular premium in the system, the design of the end caps can be selected from various features. Suitable for the required installation situation with or without thread, particularly slim with axial supply port, or with bearing for swivel movements.
