Experience digital learning that is as individual as people themselves. Today's digitized world needs a holistic approach to technical education and training. With innovative forms of learning, we create a basis for sustainable learning success. Below are some examples where digital solutions have already been successfully integrated into everyday training and education.

Karlsruhe Institute of Technology

Every year, the Karlsruhe Institute of Technology (KIT) systematically prepares about 100 trainees and DHBW students for their future tasks in more than 25 professions and 12 study courses. Among young people, KIT is one of the top addresses for vocational training in the technology region and throughout Germany.Since 2020, the FESTO LX platform has been firmly integrated into everyday training at KIT. It is used both in practical training and in home learning. In home learning, it is mainly used for self-study, exam preparation, or as an introduction to seminars. In practical training, it is used as a learning aid, memory aid or for theoretical consolidation of a topic.

"For us, the LX platform is the ideal supplement to make our training exciting and lively. Regardless of the level of knowledge, the FESTO LX platform is the ideal tool to arouse curiosity and cover learning content. Training rethought and experienced." - Kurt Knoblauch, KIT

Freudenberg Company

At Freudenberg, Festo LX is used to package complex topics into short units. The important thing here is to link theoretical and practical content so that professional action remains the focus when it is used. In this context, LX is used in close combination with pneumatic and hydraulic components, as well as Tec2Screen content and metal training elements such as lathes and milling machines.

"Festo LX offers a range of courses ideally linked to Festo hardware. For creating your own content, Festo LX offers user-friendly layouts that help convey complex topics easily." - Martin Bechtold, Technical Trainer for Digitization

Ecole professionnelle technique des métiers (EPTM) Switzerland

At EPTM, Festo LX is used as part of the "Industry 4.0" project in training for automation and polymechanics. Since other digital tools such as Microsoft Teams are already used within the school's learning concept, Festo LX fits in ideally there. With the help of Festo LX, trainees are taught the basics of Industry 4.0 as well as all the content of pneumatics and electropneumatics. In addition, it helps the EPTM to familiarize learners with the topics of OPC-UA communication, maintenance and safety, and smart sensors.

LX is not only used in the classroom, but trainees can also use it to deepen their knowledge in self-study. The advantage of Festo LX is that learners can work independently, their learning progress can be monitored, and there is the option to conduct assessment tests.

"I'm looking for the most didactic tool possible to make teaching enjoyable and attractive for trainees. LX is one of them and the portal is on the right track." - Jean-Jacques Fournier, vocational teacher
