New learning spaces with an innovative ceiling system.

Project Ideas and Requirements

The project began in 2017 with the planning of a new building to address the outdated infrastructure and lack of space in the existing laboratory rooms. The previous spaces no longer met the requirements, as they were both too small and equipped with outdated equipment. The tender for the new building took place at the end of 2021. As part of the project, four flexible laboratory rooms were equipped with an innovative ceiling system from Hohenloher, which ensures a high adaptability of the spaces. The new rooms were completed and delivered in July 2022. They now provide a modern, functional, and flexible learning environment that strengthens the location as an attractive educational site in the region and enables a future-oriented education.

The goal was to create modern, bright, and functional spaces equipped with innovative teaching systems that meet today's educational requirements.

The didactic concept - the implementation

As part of the project, a total of four state-of-the-art rooms were equipped with an innovative ceiling system from Hohenloher to meet the new requirements in education. One room was set up with the Festo Frame System, which allows for flexible and adaptable furniture solutions for interactive and effective teaching design. Another room was specifically designed for control technology and pneumatics/hydraulics. Each of these rooms features three mobile carts that provide trainees with a practical learning environment.

Additionally, 12 MPS (Modular Production System) stations were integrated according to the specific requirements of the customer to simulate complex production processes and convey learning content in a hands-on manner. The use of FluidSIM® supports learning in the field of control technology.

Customer Benefits:

The modern rooms provide a highly flexible and adaptable infrastructure tailored to specific training needs. With innovative technologies and flexible furnishings, the spaces can be quickly and efficiently reconfigured. The integration of 12 MPS stations enables the delivery of practical learning content that optimally prepares trainees for the challenges of the industry. Digital learning systems like FluidSIM® complement the hands-on training and ensure its future viability.
