As an internationally active family business with many years of tradition, the Festo Group has an excellent reputation among its business partners and employees, places great value on integrity and holds itself to the highest ethical and legal standards. We acknowledge our responsibility to our business partners and to our employees around the world.
Code of conduct
Compliance means following all valid laws, guidelines, standards and regulations, and it is the basis of how we do business. To give our employees and business partners insight into our understanding of the law and our values, we have a code of conduct, which is the binding standard for the business dealings of all Festo employees. Our Compliance Office supports the application of the code of conduct worldwide and it is the contact person for customers and employees who have questions about this subject.
Our Compliance Circle
The Compliance Office provides regular information internally about any news to do with compliant-relevant topics.
The code of conduct is used in all countries where Festo does business and is communicated via internal media.
Through targeted training measures worldwide, employees learn what conduct is expected of them when they do business.
Employees worldwide have the opportunity to seek advice from the Compliance Office as to how to interpret the code of conduct.
Asking our employees helps us to continuously improve our internal processes.
Your reports are important to us
We want to stay true to our principles. As a learning company, we aim to improve continuously. If you wish to point out malpractice or a breach of our code of conduct, please contact our Compliance Office. You can alternatively communicate with us through our safe, anonymous whistleblowing portal.

In the Democratic Republic of the Congo and neighbouring countries, raw materials are mined that are used to finance violent conflicts. Such materials are known as ‘conflict minerals’ for this reason. With this in mind, we make efforts not to purchase any materials from the region of Congo.
Notwithstanding, as Festo is required to disclose the sources of its materials within the supply chain, we fulfil this obligation to the extent that we can by providing an up-to-date CMRT (Conflict Minerals Reporting Template).
If you have any questions, please contact the Compliance Office.
