Setting up learning laboratories
Depending on your circumstances and ideas, we will work with you to develop a plan for designing complete learning labs or equipping existing labs with new learning equipment. The aim is to ensure that the layout, corporate design and concept of your learning laboratories reflect the high-quality learning environments of Festo. We provide you with professional advice and on-site support during the practical implementation of the plans.
Teacher training
Once a FACT Centre has been furnished with learning equipment, we offer teachers and trainers concise training as standard to familiarise them with the new technology and use it correctly. Description of the FACT Centre
The FACT Centre Santiago has a training laboratory with five workstations where automated industrial processes such as distribution, measurement, human-robot collaboration, classification and storage are simulated. The workstations are wirelessly networked with each other and form an Industry 4.0 production network. The industry 4.0 technologies include M2M communication, SCADA, mobile robotics and RFID. At the FACT Centre, students acquire practical knowledge and skills in the field of industry 4.0 and obtain an internationally recognised certificate.

The Centro Metalmecánico offers training in maintenance, automation, design and product development. The centre has around 120 trainers and around 7,700 students who are being trained in the operation, programming and control of machines and systems. The image the centre has is one of a high level of professionalism and excellent learning quality thanks to its advanced educational standards and first-class equipment.

In cooperation with Festo, NU has set up the FACT Centre Giza to bridge the gap between academic education and industry. The FACT Centre is therefore geared towards the technical training needs of industry. The curricula and training methods are tailored to the needs of local companies. Practical teaching takes place in two laboratories: the "Basic Technologies" laboratory, which covers topics such as pneumatics, safety, hydraulics, sensor technology, CNC, robotics and PLC, and the "Full Automation" laboratory, in which the topics of commissioning, technical troubleshooting and control loops are covered.

Abu Dhabi Polytechnic (AD Poly) was founded in 2010 by the Institute of Applied Technology to create a dual education system in high-tech disciplines. Zeenni's Trading Agency and Industries was founded in 1945 and is based in Bsarma El Koura, North Lebanon. Over 250 employees work together to ensure the company's success. The manufacturing process, from moulding to filling and packaging, is carried out entirely by the company. The production facilities are state of the art and are operated by highly qualified skilled workers.

The FACT Centre for Mechatronics was created as a result of a lack of practical know-how among university graduates, which meant that the application-oriented qualification requirements of local industry could not be met. The FACT Centre has two laboratories that are equipped with basic equipment and an AFB Factory. The FACT Centre offers courses in pneumatics, hydraulics, sensor technology, CAD/CAM/CNC, robotics, automation and programming.

The Universidad de Ingeniería y Tecnología (UTEC) was founded in 2011 by the Peruvian entrepreneur Eduardo Hochschild, leader of the Hochschild Group. UTEC was the first university in Peru to obtain accreditation from the National Superintendence of Higher University Education in 2016.
UTEC currently offers sixteen study programs and executive education courses. In addition, it houses a graduate school and several research centers.
