The FACT Centre Santiago has a training laboratory with five workstations where automated industrial processes such as distribution, measurement, human-robot collaboration, classification and storage are simulated. The workstations are wirelessly networked with each other and form an Industry 4.0 production network. The industry 4.0 technologies include M2M communication, SCADA, mobile robotics and RFID. At the FACT Centre, students acquire practical knowledge and skills in the field of industry 4.0 and obtain an internationally recognised certificate.

The Centro Metalmecánico offers training in maintenance, automation, design and product development. The centre has around 120 trainers and around 7,700 students who are being trained in the operation, programming and control of machines and systems.
