Mechanically coupled cylinders describe pneumatic rodless linear actuators whose slides are moved by a mechanical coupling with the piston. With this design, the pneumatic space is opened in the longitudinal direction and is sealed to the outside by a flexible sealing band in front of and behind the piston.
