Learning should be increasingly integrated into the work process. Both the individual qualification requirements of employees as well as the operational objectives should therefore be brought together in a solution for learning and assistance.
The project LeARn4Assembly deals with the potential of virtual reality (VR) and augmented reality (AR). A didactic-methodical concept will be developed and integrated into a VR / AR-based assistance system.
The primary target group are assembly employees who differ in age, qualification level, experience and language. Workers are able to call up various training contents for making their own decisions independently and receive feedback on the quality of the work performed as well as on the potential for further possible courses of action. The aim is to promote self-reflection, improve understanding of the process and strengthen the sense of personal responsibility.
LeARn4Assembly is funded by the Federal Ministry of Education and Research.
