Plant maintenance is a time-consuming process that is still largely done with pen and paper.
Maintenance plans are lost, the machine documentation is stored in cabinets far away from the machine and the printed and filed maintenance instructions must be maintained manually. In addition, a separate incident management system for maintenance staff without any interfaces is usually used and existing maintenance knowledge is only available in printed form, if at all.

Smartenance consists of two user interfaces: A mobile app for machine operators and a web application for production managers and maintenance staff.
The app enables plant operators to access maintenance tasks, documents and other attachments such as videos from anywhere and at any time. In this way, they have all the information they need right at their disposal at the machine. In addition, maintenance feedback and incidents can be reported directly via the app. This feedback is documented and can be viewed via the web application.
Via the web application, maintenance managers (such as production managers) can create new and manage existing maintenance tasks. The web application also provides an overview of the maintenance status of all your machines. Maintenance managers use the web application to view current incidents and document tasks for reported incidents. This creates a knowledge base that can be accessed in case of future incidents. In this way, Smartenance reduces coordination efforts and enables more efficient work.
Smartenance is offered as an annual subscription in three packages. You can decide which package suits your needs and how many licenses you need. One license corresponds to one user of the web application or one access for a mobile device.

Smartenance is a cloud application that consists of a web application and an app for tablets and smartphones (operating devices). With the web application you as a user can create maintenance plans and manage HMI devices and users of the web application via a web browser at www.smartenance.festo.com. The web application can also be used to create and edit fault messages and document the actions taken.
To use the Smartenance web application or Smartenance App, licenses are required. These can be purchased for each license package. A license can be assigned to either a user of the web application or a mobile device.
We offer Smartenance in 3 license packages. For your account, first select the license package that suits you best and then select the required number of licenses. You can switch between the license packages and change the number of licenses later. The selected license package is valid for the entire account.

The cloud storage is available for all data in an account. If this is exceeded, uploading pictures, documents and videos is no longer possible.
The purchase of licenses is handled as a subscription. The respective amount due is invoiced annually at the beginning of the license period. The minimum term for the purchase of a license package is 1 year. Afterwards, the contract and the associated license period is automatically renewed for another year.
Cancellation: A cancellation of the subscription is possible at any time and becomes effective at the end of the license period.
Extension of the scope of services (upgrade):
You can upgrade to a larger license package at any time. The scope of services of the new license package is available immediately after an upgrade and a debit note for the new invoice amount is sent to you. The new license period begins at the time of purchase of the larger license package. Claims to the services of the replaced license package are lost by the purchase of an upgrade. Outstanding payment obligations from the replaced license agreement expire after an upgrade.
