Installation and commissioning

To ensure a safe and fast commission of your learning systems, our qualified technicians visit you to install your equipment and provide a short familiarization session. The service is performed on demand where your equipment is to be used. It guarantees properly functioning products and a quick start of your training sessions.

We recommend specific Product Trainings to maximize the return on investment for your institution.

TeamViewer Quick Support

To improve customer service, Festo uses software that allows our staff to view your screen over a secure internet connection. This usually significantly reduces the time required to find a solution to the problem. This is done with the TeamViewer QuickSupport program.

Please prepare for the TeamViewer session as follows:

  • You and our employee will agree on an exact meeting time . We kindly ask that you be present on time.

  • TeamViewer is already installed on our computers, please download TeamViewer QuickSupport here.
  • Please make sure that the TeamViewer program is already installed and started before the session begins. This will save valuable time that we would like to use productively to help you.
  • Please make sure you have a stable internet connection to be able to solve the problem without network interruptions.
  • Smooth communication should be ensured with a telephone or by using a headset directly on the same device.
  • When the program starts, you need to click Accept in the pop-up window.
  • To be able to make changes, please ensure that you have administrator rights on your device.
  • Please have your license ticket or your order number ready so that you have the necessary information at your fingertips.
  • Please ensure that the software has already been downloaded and does not require any additional waiting times for downloading (unless downloading is the issue).
  • Our support agent will be able to see that you have successfully connected (no need to read out the ID)

Product training

Our product trainings help you achieve optimal use of your new learning system. In the training, our qualified instructors present the equipment and explain the provided courseware. They review the basic theoretical concepts, explain how each module works, and how to perform exercises as integrated part of your teachings.

REACh EC regulation 1907/2006/EG (REACh)

These building blocks constitute a comprehensive restructuring of the chemicals policy. REACh has been in force since June 2007 and regulates chemical legislation in Europe. The aim is to protect people and the environment and to centralize the collection of all information on chemical substances in Europe.

For the first time, chemicals legislation also covers substances in products. As a manufacturer of products, Festo is therefore obliged to provide information on whether substances of very high concern (SVHC) can be found in Festo products.

After the REACh regulation came into force in June 2006, Festo AG & Co. KG began to regularly check the total product range for SVHC. If there is more than 0.1% weight by weight (w/w) of a substance on the candidate list in one of our products, we will immediately comply with our duty to inform in accordance with Article 33 of the REACh regulation.

Information on SVHC (Substances of Very High Concern) in products

On September 10, 2015, the European Court of Justice precisely specified the definition of a product within the context of the REACh directive. If the limit value of 0.1 w/w% is exceeded for a substance of very high concern (SVHC) in an installed sub-product, the product in question must be registered in accordance with Art.33 (1) of the REACh directive regardless of the weight by weight percentage of the overall product.
