Festo Industry Certification Program

Building Careers for Industry

The Festo Industry Certification Program (FICP), our comprehensive industry skills certification, is based on industry and education partnerships to ensure students have the right set of skills to be industry ready. FICP evolved from our global industrial automation division and technical education experience over the past six decades.

Get certified through NC3 partnership

Gain access to high-quality curriculum, interactive learning tools, and a network of educators and industry experts—all to better prepare students for career success. The National Coalition of Certification Centers (NC3) collaborates with Festo to develop and deliver industry-recognized certifications aligned with national skill standards.

Through NC3’s Train-the-Trainer program, educators receive specialized training to implement Festo’s Industry Certification Program (FICP), ensuring standardized, high-quality instruction. Deep dive into semiconductor manufacturing training

The Festo Industry Certification Program (FICP) provides foundational to advanced manufacturing training applicable across various industries. The program is designed for flexibility, allowing educators to select courses from different levels to align with their specific teaching objectives and create a customized learning journey.

To meet the unique needs of semiconductor manufacturing, we have developed a dedicated pathway that builds on the FICP framework with industry-specific training: the semiconductor pathway. It extends core manufacturing principles with specialized modules covering cleanroom protocols, gowning procedures, air particle and humidity control, wafer initialization and handling, camera vision-based machine inspection, electrostatic discharge (ESD) control, and automated robotic wafer handling.
