Rotating and gripping
The most compact rotary gripper module in its class is ideal for handling small objects in a wide variety of applications. The EHMD is particularly suitable for laboratory automation, e.g. for easily opening a large range of sample vials. The unique Z module automatically adjusts to the thread pitches of the covers, eliminating changeover times! And the EHMD easily integrates with the motor controller CMMO-ST or CMMT-ST in power operation.
Cross-sector applications
The EHMD is completely reliable for in vitro diagnostics, cell or genome research or sample inspections in the biotech and pharmaceutical industries. It is also reliable when preparing and analyzing samples, when loading centrifuges, when gripping, rotating and placing microwell plates or even when opening and closing sample vials of different sizes. Combined with a 3D gantry and a camera, it can also carry out quality inspections, recognize and relay key information from bar codes or label printing, not just in light assembly tasks but also in the electronics industry and the food and beverage sector.
Pneumatic or electric?
The EHMD comes in two versions: fully electric or with a pneumatic gripper. Both permit infinite rotation.
