Axis controller CPX-CMAX

You have the choice: position and force control, directly actuated or selected from one of 128 configurable positioning sets The configurable function Record sequencing enables simple functional sequences to be realized in the axis controller CPX-CMAX. The auto-identification function identifies each station with its device data on the controller CPX-CMAX. The control of a brake or clamping unit via the proportional directional control valve VPWP is also part of the scope of performance of the controller CPX-CMAX. Up to eight modules (max. eight axes) can be operated in parallel and independently of each other.
Commissioning is done via FCT—the Festo configuration software—or fieldbus: no programming, just configuration.

End-position controller CPX-CMPX

It offers fast travel between the mechanical end stops of the cylinder, moving gently and without impact into the end position. Fast commissioning is done via control panel, fieldbus or handheld terminal. The control of a brake or clamping unit via the proportional directional control valve VPWP is an integral component of the controller CMPX. Depending only on the fieldbus chosen, up to nine end-position controllers can be controlled on the CPX terminal. All system data can be read and written via the fieldbus, including the mid-positions, for example. The advantages are:
Increased flexibility, OEM-friendly, commissioning also via fieldbus, clear installation and fast commissioning, cost-effective, up to 30% more cycles, significantly reduced vibrations in the system, increased working ergonomics due to a significantly reduced noise level.

End-position controller SPC11

It offers fast travel between two fixed stops with electronic end position cushioning and up to two freely selectable intermediate positions. Activation via digital I/O. Up to 30% more cycles are possible with significantly reduced system vibration. Fast problem-free commissioning is possible, with no specialists required. A simple conversion of existing systems is also possible. It offers a change in mass or load of up to 30% of the total moving
mass with optimum operating performance, is less expensive than electric actuators, and emits a lower noise level.
