Proportional 3-way control valve VPWI
The new VPWI is based on the VPPI and can be used for all applications where volume control is required. It offers extremely short operating times, a stable valve position and extensive functionality, from setpoint adjustment to an MFC-like function, making the VPWI extremely fl exible in use.

Proportional pressure regulator VEAB with IO-Link
Digitalised piezo control delivers an exceptional performance
The piezo bender is the innovative core element of the VEAB with IO-Link®. It is further enhanced by optimised control behaviour and useful additional functions. The proportional characteristics of a directly actuated piezo bender ensure stable and reliable regulation, and an infinitely variable pressure rise. This is interesting for all those industries requiring IO-Link® communication. The valves control flows of up to 20 l/min with maximum precision, low hysteresis, high repeat accuracy, low energy consumption and completely quietly.

Proportional pressure regulators VEAA/VEAB
Thanks to its high-precision control the future is piezo!
A piezo bender is the innovative core element of VEAA and VEAB. These valves offer high-precision flow control at up to 20 l/min. with low hysteresis, high repeat accuracy and low energy consumption. The proportional characteristics of a directly actuated piezo bender ensure stable and reliable regulation, and an infinitely variable pressure rise. The VEAA and VEAB are completely quiet during operation, which is very interesting for many industry segments.

VPWS proportional valve
Extremely small: 2/2-way proportional valve
This lightweight cartridge valve is compact at just 15 mm and has a large flow rate of up to 210 l/min at 2 bar. The compact design and high flow rate of the proportional solenoid valve VPWS make it the optimal choice for use in medical technology. It is also suitable for other application areas and industry segments in which gas flows of 5 l/min to 500 l/min at up to 6 bar have to be regulated.

Teaching robot with piezo technology
Case study
To help future dentists and dental assistants deal with children during dental treatments, the Japanese company tmsuk has developed a humanoid robot that realistically simulates the behaviour of young children during these treatments, complete with fidgeting, flinching or closing the mouth. The dummy’s realistic movements are produced using proportional pressure regulators with piezo technology.
